The plain terms for buying a little book and using it.

What you buy

One digital Anniversary book, bound in the linen you choose before paying. It has 15 pages for your photos and words, a sealed letter on its last page, a private link for you and a gift link to send. Nothing is printed or posted. The linen cannot be changed after you pay.

Price and payment

Each book is $14.99, charged once in US dollars (USD) through Stripe's payment page. The price is set by our site, not by your browser. By paying, you agree to these terms. No sales tax (GST/HST) is added to the price.

When your book opens

Your book opens only once Stripe confirms your payment. Until then its link opens nothing. If you leave Stripe's page without paying, nothing is charged.

Your links

Your private link shows your book and lets you change or delete it, so keep it to yourself. The gift link shows only what you last sent. We cannot tell who holds a link, and we cannot stop someone you shared it with from opening it.

Your photos and words

They stay yours. You let us keep them and show them at your book's links, and nothing else. Only add photos and words you have the right to share. Do not add anything illegal, anything that breaks someone else's rights, anything hateful or harassing, or any sexual content involving minors. We may close a book that breaks this, at our discretion.

Refunds

Within 14 days of buying you can have a full refund, for any reason. A full refund closes your book. The refund policy has the details.

How long your book stays

Your book stays at its links until you delete it, or until 30 days after a full refund. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long. If we ever close the shop, we will email buyers at least 30 days before books stop opening.

How the site works

Books open in a web browser, with nothing to install. Phones that cannot show the 3D book get a simpler, flat page turn. We work to keep books online, but we cannot promise the site will never be down. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. This does not take away any consumer rights you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, we will update this page and its date. Books already bought keep the terms in force when you bought them.
