Short answers about buying, filling and sending your little book.
What do I get?
A digital book, the one you choose, bound in the linen you choose. It has 12 or 15 square pages for your photos and words and a sealed letter on the last page. They open it at a link, in the browser on their phone or computer. Nothing is printed or posted.
How much is it?
$14.99 per book, paid once, charged in US dollars (USD). No sales tax is added, and there is no subscription.
How do I pay?
On Stripe's secure payment page. We never see or keep your card number. Stripe emails your receipt.
Do I need an account?
No. Once Stripe confirms your payment, your book opens at a private link. The phone you bought it on remembers the link under "Your book", and we email it to the address you gave Stripe.
Can I change the colour later?
Not the linen: the book keeps the linen you choose before paying. While you fill its pages you can pick the colour inside the envelope.
What can I put in it?
Your words on each page, their name, a letter for the envelope, and up to 60 photos. Your phone shrinks each photo before it is sent to us, which also leaves the camera's details behind (its make, the date and the place).
Who can see my book?
Whoever has one of its two links. Your private link shows your book and lets you change it, so keep it to yourself. The gift link is the one you send: it opens only what you last sent, and it is made when you press "Send their book". Both are long random addresses, kept out of search engines.
How do they open it?
In the browser on their phone or computer, with nothing to install. Older phones get a simpler, flat page turn.
I lost my private link
Look under "Your book" on the home page, on the phone you bought it on, or in the email we sent after you paid. Otherwise write to hello@ourlittlescrapbook.com from the email address you paid with, and we will send it again.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Write to us within 14 days of buying for a full refund, for any reason. A full refund closes your book. The refund policy has the details.
How long do you keep my book?
Until you delete it. After a full refund, its photos and words are deleted 30 days later. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.
How do I delete my book?
Open your private link, then the editor, and choose "Delete this book". It removes the book, your words, your photos and both links at once, and it cannot be undone.
